Thanks for posting the Pav piece. We've missed him on the opera scene and at the Met. And now, we miss him forever. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks, Nancy. Like everyone else, I am touched and amazed by his beautiful voice and singing.
But as an opera singer myself, what impresses me most is how he touched and to some degree changed the world beyond the borders of the opera world. It is for this reason I felt it appropriate to acknowledge his passing on the blog.
